Coleta de lixo do COMEL passará a ser seletiva a partir desta sexta-feira

A administração conta com a conscientização e a colaboração dos moradores para que o projeto seja realizado. Cuidar do lixo é dever de todos! A mudança começa na próxima sexta-feira (10/04). Participe!

A Administração do Condomínio Mansões Entre Lagos (COMEL), mesmo diante dos desafios impostos pelo coronavírus, mantém todos os serviços em funcionamento, ainda que com a sede da administração fechada.

Cumprindo a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos Lei 12.305/2010, que prevê o aumento da reciclagem e da reutilização dos resíduos sólidos (O que tem valor econômico e pode ser reciclado ou reaproveitamento) e a destinação ambientalmente adequada dos rejeitos (O que não pode ser reciclado ou reutilizado), a partir da próxima sexta-feira (10/04), o lixo do COMEL passará a ser recolhido de forma seletiva pela Associação Recicla Mais Brasil.

Contrato

Atualmente o COMEL tem um custo mensal de R$ 41. 400,00 com a empresa que presta o serviço de coleta. Se o atual contrato fosse renovado, esse valor reajustado passaria para R$ 46. 000,00 (Quarenta e seis mil reais). Após cotação de preço entre outras empresas de coleta de lixo, a Recicla Mais Brasil apresentou o melhor preço e custo benefício, incluindo a implantação da coleta seletiva. A escolha da associação promoverá ao condomínio economia de R$ 4.600 (Quatro mil e seiscentos reais) por mês e o montante de R$ 55.200, 00 (Cinquenta e cinco mil e duzentos reais) por ano.

De acordo com o estabelecido no contrato, a associação realizará a coleta, transporte, triagem processamento armazenamento e destinação final adequada de resíduos sólidos, recicláveis e reutilizáveis.

Mais benefícios

A atual administração realiza ações no sentido de legalizar o condomínio. Em conjunto com alguns moradores desenvolveu um projeto de compensação ambiental e o submeteu, por orientação da Procuradoria Geral do Distrito Federal, ao IBRAM (Instituto Brasília Ambiental). A ideia é encerrar o processo: 0002164-65.1993.8.07.0016, que trata de ilegalidades na implementação do condomínio e dos crimes ambientais cometidos. Além de evitar novas multas por danos ambientais, entre outras.

A Recicla Mais Brasil oferecerá ao condomínio, a destinação correta dos resíduos reciclados, gerados nas dependências.  A parceria também contribui com o projeto social da associação, que ajuda no sustento das famílias de catadores do Paranoá e Itapoã. O trabalho em conjunto atende à Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos (PNRS), que faz parte da compensação ambiental.

Como funcionará a coleta semanal?

Os resíduos orgânicos serão retirados nas segundas, terças, quintas-feiras e sábados. Os recicláveis nas quartas e às sextas –feiras são recolhidas as podas ensacadas, conforme demonstrado na ilustração acima. É fundamental que os moradores enfrentem mais esse desafio pelo bem do meio ambiente e também pela saúde de todos. A mudança na rotina de cada um será recompensada com a resposta positiva do meio ambiente e também na geração de emprego e renda para os catadores da associação.

Obs: Nos dias de recolhimento de podas e recicláveis não haverá coleta de lixo orgânico.

A associação

A Recicla Mais Brasil é uma associação de catadores de direito privado sem fins lucrativos, atende a oito condomínios, quatro embaixadas e uma escola do Distrito Federal, aliando coleta seletiva e inclusão social, garantindo trabalho e renda para catadores de materiais recicláveis. Criada em 2011, atualmente, a associação conta com quatro caminhões, um galpão com esteira e prensa, além de 35 catadores, que são os responsáveis por colocar todo o projeto em prática.

A associação desenvolve vários projetos sociais na comunidade do Paranoá e Itapoã, sendo eles: educação ambiental nas escolas, plantações na comunidade, cursos, artesanato e o Natal Solidário. A Recicla Mais Brasil contará com a participação dos moradores do COMEL nos projetos de doações de mudas para plantio, no curso de compostagem, entre outras ações, que serão agendadas ao longo do ano.

Na visão de Cristiane Pereira, presidente da associação, desde o início atividades, as comunidades e seus representantes têm buscado a adesão de práticas mais conscientes. “Esses grupos de pessoas estão cada vez mais consciente da importância do serviço especializado e responsável. Muitos condomínios já têm iniciativa de mobilização e educação ambiental. Hoje, existe um despertar coletivo e esse movimento está acontecendo no mundo todo”, disse.

Ambientalista e moradora

Simone Gallego, moradora do COMEL, atua nos projetos ambientais do local, há um ano. Ambientalista, destaca a importância do cooperativismo na destinação adequada dos resíduos e também a função social desempenhada por associações e cooperativas. “Além da certeza da triagem e da fomentação da cadeia produtiva do lixo, como determina a PNRS (Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos), o ganho social também é significativo no fortalecimento da associação de catadores e na qualidade de vida de cada um” disse.

A ambientalista ressaltou, ainda, que o fato de a associação de catadores estar localizada bem próximo ao condomínio – no Paranoá – irá viabilizar uma mudança positiva e rápida. “Seja pela inclusão social ou pela conservação dos recursos naturais de nosso entorno. O COMEL estará dando uma importante contribuição nos esforços de aumentar a vida útil do Aterro Sanitário de Samambaia já que o material recolhido terá destinação adequada sem sobrecarregar o aterro”, comentou, Simone.

Coronavírus

Por conta do Decreto 40.539 do GDF, a coleta irá funcionar normalmente, com a atenção e os cuidados necessários. A triagem do material reciclável na associação ficará suspensa até o fim da vigência do decreto, mas a coleta seletiva nas dependências do COMEL será realizada normalmente.

A administração agradece a participação de todos que, de uma forma ou de outra, contribuíram para a viabilização desta parceria, que é certamente a ação mais desafiadora do Projeto de Compensação Ambiental, que passa pelo crivo do IBRAM. A implementação demandará esforços ainda maiores, mas o compromisso e a determinação dos envolvidos dão a certeza de que o objetivo será alcançado.
